Concept: Honey was born in the Bowery in New York. It would have been a wonderful time, if she had been born years earlier. But by the time Honey came to be, The Bowery had fallen into despair. The area once filled with rich families had turned into the worst part of the city. Skid Row as they often called it.
Her mother was an exceptional pianist, who often spent more time playing than tending to her children. Her father was a small time lawyer with no time for his family. This left plenty of time for Honey to roam the streets while growing up, seeing the seedy parts of the city and learning all too quickly how to make her way. But Honey had dreams of leaving the slums. She loved to sing and dance, and had quite a knack for it. At the age of 16, she left home, heading for Hollywood with her dreams to make it big. But she never made it that far.
Honey has worked at a speakeasy in Boston, singing with her golden voice, dancing on the small stage to entertain the crowds that gather to drink and cavort. Honey still has dreams, only they have changed some. Between the speakeasies and the troupe of men who have smuggled goods through the city, she has learned that not only Hollywood can make a girl rich.
Additional Comments: Like her brothers, Honey is not her real name, but it's what she goes by.
